Muscle Building Supplements
The
question of whether or not to use supplements is a very
important question. Do weight lifters need to use supplements to
get bigger? To answer this question we need to understand
something. What are the goals of someone that has taken up
bodybuilding? If someone has taken up bodybuilding to increase
their muscle mass and strength then the answer is no. They don’t
need muscle building supplements to accomplish these goals. If
someone has taken up bodybuilding and wants to get as big and as
strong as is possible for their body type and genetic makeup
then the answer is yes.

Supplements
The muscle building
supplement industry is a multi-million dollar industry which preys
on unsuspecting weight lifters in the hope of selling them the
dream of untold muscle mass and athletic performance. More times
than not the person using these supplements are just throwing their
money down the drain. They have not been trained properly in their
use and in what combinations they must be used. What little benefit
they may get from these muscle building supplements far exceeds the
damage they could do to themselves, not to mention their wallets.
They would get the same and more benefits by following a strict
nutritional plan by eating the right foods that are high in the
natural nutrients for muscle building.
If you train hard and are
serious about building muscle than you must consume the right
amount of protein, carbohydrates and fat. You will see a
significant improvement in your overall strength and physique by
following a tried and true bodybuilding plan. If you feel that you
are getting the most that you can out of your workouts and your
nutritional plan than you may want to experiment with using a
limited amount of muscle building supplements.
One supplement, which has
become popular, is creatine. Creatine will certainly help to fuel
your workouts and provide an added rebuilding effect when taken
after a workout. The problem is that most people don’t know that
you have to cycle creatine in order for it to be effective. If you
don’t cycle your creatine intake you may wind up doing more harm
then good.
If you decide to use
supplements then there are three that I recommend taking as long as
you follow the instructions to the letter and only use as
needed.
1. Creatine
2. Whey Protein
3. Multi-Vitamin
These three muscle build
supplements have, over time proven to be the most effective for
complimenting your over all workout routine. Start with these and
be very selective if you want to try something else. You don’t need
all the fancy designer muscle building supplements to get ripped
and muscular. Just find and stick to a proven plan and dedicate
yourself to reaching your goals.
