Body
You must trick your body
into burning its fat stores to use as energy and not the protein
that you require for lean muscle growth. One way of managing this
is to cycle your protein intake over a period of several months.
Your body is an amazing machine and when confronted with a problem
will learn to adapt at any cost to protect itself.
Cycle Your
Protein Intake
Start your cycle with a
high protein intake and also a proper fat burning workout routine.
After six weeks of a high protein diet dramatically decrease the
amount of protein that you consume. You'll continue this protein
deprivation for another couple weeks until you cycle back up to a
high protein intake state. What occurs is that while you are on a
high protein cycle your body is adapting to the sufficient stores
of protein. As you deprive your body of this protein while in your
low protein intake cycle, your body will ravenously use all the
protein it has as adequately as possible. It will not waste this
protein and will use it to help build new lean muscle
mass.
To lose fat and gain
muscle you must start to gradually increase your protein intake
over the next week until you're at your high protein intake levels
of the first several weeks of your cycle. The body, being adaptive,
will accumulate all the protein it can in expectation of another
protein shortage. It will instead use its fat stores as energy and
store the protein in your muscles. When the protein is stored in
your muscles they'll nourish on this protein and grow while
simultaneously reducing your levels of fat.
This is a small example
of what your body is capable of. It is possible with the right
knowledge and the right program to lose fat and gain muscle. Please
