It is important to be mindful of your daily caloric intake, which means you will need to monitor what your daily eating habits are. You must include cardio exercises in your workouts to lose fat and help to define and build the abdominal muscles and you must add Ab training to add tone and definition to the muscles.  The right diet to get great abs:

You need to start altering what you eat. You don’t have to give up all the foods you love but you need to exclude those high fat low nutrition foods that do little more than get stored as fat. Most of us eat three big meals; at a time of the day when one is least active. For the purposes of burning fat and increasing our metabolism we need to start eating smaller meals throughout the day. If this is not convenient for you then for the next six weeks the biggest meal should be eaten in the morning. Not only will this give you some extra energy for the day but will also help fuel your workout regime. Natural foods have more of the nutrients the body requires to burn fat, and build up muscle so you need to include more fresh vegetables and fruit if your really serious about learning how to get great abs. It’s also important to increase your protein intake while reducing your fat intake. This will also help ignite your fat burning machine, which is your body.

 

How to get great abs? Cardio

get great absSimply put if there is a king of Ab sculpting then cardio is it. When you first begin to exercise take it nice and slow. The important thing to remember is not to get your heart rate up too quickly in the beginning. As you work towards your goal of getting those 6 pack abs you will find that as you progress in your cardio training you will increase the efficiency of your workout and also experience more gains for the same amount of time. To put it simply you are getting in shape. Ultimately you will want to do your cardio for roughly 20 minutes a day 5 days a week.

One thing to note here is that it is now commonly believed that you really don’t start burning fat until after you hit the 20-minute mark in your cardio training. As you progress in your training you will be able to surpass this 20-minute mark with very little trouble. You may also find that while you are getting in better shape you may also be able to cut down your cardio sessions to 3 days a week. You will be the best judge of this and only you will know what is right for you and your body.
